On August 21, 2023, Mr. Somchok Vukthong, Executive Director of Sony Device Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd extended a warm welcome to faculty and students from King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok and inaugurated the Senior Project. This marks the company’s maiden endeavor aimed at enhancing students’ academic and professional skills, with a strong focus on experiential learning to unleash their potential and broaden their knowledge base. This initiative is regarded as a valuable experience to prepare them for their future careers.

Mr. Apirome Puangchareanporn, General Manager of General Affairs Division, emphasized that the collaboration between Sony Device Technology and the University is mutually advantages. Faculty gain insights into a real workplace setting, facilitating enhancements to the curriculum. Additionally, students receive financial support from the company to foster innovation and access guidance from professional mentors, complementing the supervision provided by their professors during the project. Furthermore, the company benefits from innovative ideas that can be applied in practical work scenarios.
