Scholarship Ceremony Academic Year 2025

On January 29, 2026, Sony Device Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd. organized the Scholarship Ceremony for academic year 2025 at Meeting Room C401, Building 4. The event also included a company visit for professors and students, as well as discussions on future opportunities for academic collaboration.

Sony Device Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has been supporting educational opportunities for academic institutions across Thailand since 2007. Continuing its commitment to creating educational opportunities as an important foundation for the country, the company provided a total of 19 scholarships for academic year 2025, with a combined value of THB 300,000.

The scholarships were granted to students from 13 universities as follows:

1. Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi
2. Kasetsart University
3. Khon Kaen University
4. King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok
5. Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology
6. Thammasat University
7. King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang
8. King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi
9. Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology
10. Ubon Ratchathani University
11. Suranaree University of Technology
12. Prince of Songkla University
13. Chiang Mai University

Scholarships were also granted to students from six technical colleges as follows:

1. Pathumthani Technical College
2. Buriram Technical College
3. Surin Technical College
4. Ubon Ratchathani Technical College
5. Khon Kaen Technical College
6. Sisaket Technical College

Mr. Nobuyuki Iwashita, Managing Director of Sony Device Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd., represented the company in presenting the scholarships to the students.

After the ceremony, professors and students were invited to visit the company and take part in discussions on potential future collaboration between Sony Device Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and academic institutions across Thailand.
