SomeOne Needs You FY2025

On January 22, 2026, Sony Device Technology (Thailand) organized the “SomeOne Needs You” activity for Fiscal Year 2025 at Watsamakkiyaram School, Pathumtani Province. The activity aimed to promote educational opportunities, improve the learning environment of the community school surrounding the company, and create a safe and suitable learning space for students. It also reflected the company’s commitment to social responsibility under the CSR policy of the Sony Group.

The event was honored by the full participation of the company's executives and employees. The opening remarks were delivered by Mr. Nobuyuki Iwashita, Managing Director of Sony Device Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd., and Ms. Chantana Phaskaanon, Director of Wat Watsamakkiyaram School. The ceremony then proceeded with a scholarship presentation to students, aimed at encouraging and sustaining their educational pursuits, followed by a special talent performance from kindergarten students.

In addition, employees also led several learning activities for students, including:

• Hazard Hunt Activity, designed to build hazard awareness and accident prevention skills among students through simulated scenarios and the identification of potential dangers across various everyday settings.

• Sports Court and Walkway Repainting, designed to improve the school environment and create a cleaner, safer, and more enjoyable space for students to learn and play.

As part of this fiscal year's program, Sony Device Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd. also renovated several key areas of the school, including:

• A school landmark, a creative activity space designed for learning and relaxation for students. 

• A takraw court on the multipurpose sports field, to encourage physical wellbeing and good discipline among students.

The “SomeOne Needs You” activity for fiscal year 2025 had a total budget of THB 213,300, funded through a combination of employee fundraising efforts and matching program support from the company.
