Smart Factory Hackathon 2025

A Web Application Development challenge where participants build innovative web applications to drive smart factory operations.

Objective

To provide Thai university students with hands-on learning opportunities,

this program invites participants to develop a Web Application under the “Smart Factory” concept—bridging classroom knowledge with real industrial scenarios.

It aims to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry,

helping students understand how technology can enhance production efficiency and improve work quality in modern factories.

The challenge is designed to build problem-solving, analytical thinking, and teamwork skills

through simulated tasks inspired by real manufacturing processes, emphasizing the effective application of digital technology.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible participants are undergraduate students of any year and any faculty from universities across Thailand.
Each team must consist of 2–3 members from the same institution, and must include at least one student from the Faculty of Engineering or any related field with the necessary programming skills for Web Application development.
Each team is required to have one primary academic advisor. (The same advisor may oversee multiple teams within the same university/institution.)
All team members must be able to attend the Online Workshop held via Microsoft Teams on 1 December 2025.
All team members must also be able to travel and participate in the On-site Hackathon Day at the company on 15 December 2025, during which every team is required to deliver and demonstrate a functional prototype.

FAQ

A: There are no restrictions on development tools, programming languages, or frameworks.
Teams may use any IDEs, libraries, APIs, or databases that support the development of their web application, as well as any devices/tools they are comfortable with.
