We are seeking a dynamic Robotics & IoT Integration Engineer to drive smart automation and digital transformation in our factory. You will be a key contributor in deploying robotics, integrating IoT systems, developing internal applications, and training team members.
Responsibilities
Innovation & Automation Development
Design, implement, and maintain robotic systems (service robots, cobots, AMRs) and automation solutions to improve production efficiency.
Develop and deploy custom IoT-based systems such as smart shelves, vision-based motion detection, and edge computing devices using Raspberry Pi, Linux, and Node-RED.
Create internal applications and tools that support department operations, using Python, JavaScript, and cloud-ready architectures.
Lead small to medium-scale automation projects, including planning, budgeting, implementation, and result evaluation.
Production & Capacity Analysis
Analyze production capacity and compare it against production plans to identify opportunities for robotic or automation improvement.
Implement robotic/automation solutions that help scale up or scale down operations in line with shifting production needs.
Process Improvement & Innovation
Identify and analyze employee and process improvement needs (within and outside the department).
Propose and execute innovative solutions that align with department objectives.
System Maintenance & Support
Install and maintain robotic systems and automation equipment used on production lines.
Monitor system uptime, resolve issues, and proactively maintain systems to meet high availability targets.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering or Computer Engineering (with interest in automation, robotics, or IoT integration).
Proficient in Python, JavaScript, and Node-RED for data processing and IoT workflow design.
Strong hands-on experience with Raspberry Pi and Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, Debian).
Familiar with robotic systems such as AMRs, cobots, or service robots; ability to integrate with factory systems.
Knowledge of industrial automation principles and basic production planning or capacity analysis.
Strong analytical thinking and communication skills; able to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.
English proficiency (reading technical documents, emails, team meetings).
